DPED Training/Revised DPED (Basic) Training: There is no substitute for academic education and professional training for primary school teachers in making them competent in their professional responsibilities. Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTI) has been established in Bangladesh since the 1950s to train primary teachers and later the one-year Certificate in Education (C-in-Ed) course has been replaced by the 18-month Diploma in Primary Education (DPEd). . Currently, the course is being revised and imparted basic training of 10 months. |

ICT Training: Today, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has changed the way people live - making life easier and happier. ICT has also added a dimension in the field of education. Multidimensional space has taken place even in the small classroom of the village school - where students have started learning from books and computers as well. The use of ICT in improving the overall quality of education is therefore the need of the hour today to build a skilled population fit for the 21st century. The aim of this training course is to improve the teaching-learning process and increase the quality of education through the use of information and communication technology in the primary classrooms of the country. Also to help the professional development of the teachers. 14 days are planned for successful completion of the training program. Every day of 8 hours working day at least 6 hours are reserved for conducting sessions and remaining 2 hours for lunch and tea break. Every working day will start at 9 am and continue till 5 pm. Each batch has 25 participants. |
